Privacy Policy

Burofolk is a workspace collaboration platform operated by Calico IIM ("Calico IIM", "we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what personal data Burofolk processes, why we process it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Burofolk application at burofolk.ai.

1. Data we process

• Account data - your name, email address, and profile details you provide or that your organization provisions for you.
• Content you create - documents, calendar entries, messages, contacts, and other material you store in your workspace.
• Connected-service data - data from third-party services such as Google, only when you explicitly connect them (see section 3).
• Technical data - log and diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use data

We process your data solely to provide the Burofolk service: authenticating you, storing and displaying your workspace content, synchronizing the services you connect, and operating the platform features you use. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Google account data

If you choose to connect a Google account, Burofolk requests only the access required for the features you enable:

• Google Calendar (calendar.events, calendar.calendarlist.readonly) - to read your calendars and events for synchronization with your Burofolk calendar, and to create or update the events you make in Burofolk.
• Google Drive (drive, drive.readonly) - to list and read the files you choose to work with, and, for the connected-drive feature, to create, update, or organize those files on your behalf.
• Basic profile (openid, email, profile) - to identify the connected account.

Limited Use. Burofolk's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models, and we do not transfer or sell it to third parties for those or any other purposes.

4. Storage and security

Your data is stored in access-controlled databases scoped to your organization. Google OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Access is limited to the systems and personnel required to operate the service.

5. Sharing

We share data only with the people in your organization to whom you grant access, and with infrastructure providers who host the service on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell personal data.

6. Retention and deletion

You can disconnect any connected service at any time from within Burofolk; doing so removes the stored connection and the data synchronized through it. When your account or organization is closed, associated data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, subject to any legal retention obligations.
